We are seeking a full-time ranch employee/horse trainer.
We provide monthly salary and housing.
The King Ranch & Arena strives to give its clients the best service & products; therefore we seek a courteous employee with the same goals. Honesty, integrity, a good work ethic, positive attitude, helpfulness, friendliness, self-motivated, organized, clean and common sense are the kind of character traits we seek. You will need a valid drivers license, strong background with starting colts, training horses, working cattle, calving, roping, shoeing, mechanical skills, light carpentry and hunting. First Aid is a plus.
Resourcefulness is a must in order to keep water lines flowing, trucks and tractors operating, horses shod, fences mended, corrals maintained, etc. Ranching is hard work so you must be physically fit and able to lift hay bales, saddles, pipe, barrels, etc. We do not allow smoking in our Arena or homes.
